Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman has been a distinguished psychologist since 1993. She is also the Director of the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. Her name has been recognized for pioneering the study of child witnesses and eyewitness memories in the legal setting. Professor Goodman is the author of a wide range of papers and grants she is also the winner of a variety of international and national awards. She has worked with many government agencies and institutions all over the world to conduct research and policies relating to child victimized by the justice system. She works as a Consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center - formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center - of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is also a Fellow in the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology and Developmental Psychology Society for Children and Families Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 55). She was a founder member of the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children, the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development as well as the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She has served as the president of 3 divisions (Division Society for Policy on Child and Family and Practice Division, American Psychological Law Society, and Division Developmental Psychology) and one section (Child Maltreatment) of the American Psychological Association.
