Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor from America. Her most famous role was as Skyler on AMC's drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Leading Performance by a Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and discovered her love for acting during her time at Preparatory School. In the late 70's, she and her family moved to Ohio. She did theatre studies at Northwestern University, and spent an entire semester at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for a number of years before trying out for film and TV parts. In 1992, Anna landed her first big part as Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. The early 90s were when she appeared as a regular guest on TV and in films like Seinfeld or NYPD Blue. She starred as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. Skyler was the character she played in her Breaking Bad role from 2008. In addition, she was a part of the Deadwood movie and Sully. Gunn appeared in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production produced by David Schwimmer. In 2022 the actress also was a part of a four-part podcast of audio plays called"Numbered Days. The drama of Breaking Bad is driven by the relationship between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their uneasy relationship. The deterioration of this relationship is akin to Walter White's final years.
